Climb to a new, lucrative career with SUNY Broome's 2026 lineworker training program! The six-month program prepares students with the skills and knowledge needed to be qualified for high-wage, high-demand jobs in the growing utility industry.
This is SUNY Broome's third year offering the innovative training program, which will run April 13 - Oct. 16, and consist of hands-on field training, classroom instruction, and a paid internship.
Past graduates of the program have successfully gained employment in related fields including electrical utility, cable utility, and solar.
Prospective students must attend a required information session to be eligible for the program:
