Memorial Day Game with the Biloxi Shuckers

Since 2022, 5th Squad has proudly partnered with the Mississippi Braves and Milwaukee Tool to honor our fallen heroes during Memorial Day weekend. Each year, the MS Braves players wore special jerseys bearing the names of the 82 Mississippians who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation since September 11, 2001.

We collaborate with the military to organize awe-inspiring flyovers and have special forces deliver the game ball. Celebrity guests perform the national anthem, adding to a meaningful and unforgettable experience. And, of course, the evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display.

This year, and many more to come, we are thrilled to expand our mission by forming a new partnership with the Biloxi Shuckers and Keesler Federal Credit Union for our Memorial Day event. This collaboration reinforces our unwavering commitment to honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes while expressing gratitude to their families, particularly our Gold Star families.
