Students ages 15–18 are invited to join us for an exciting, hands-on day of STEM exploration focused on coastal restoration. This one-day camp is packed with engaging activities that introduce the essential skills used by scientists working to protect and restore our coastlines.
Throughout the day, students will:
-Learn to fly a drone and explore its role in environmental monitoring
-Seine for fish and practice fish identification techniques
-Take a guided plant walk to learn how to identify native coastal plant species
-Try their hand at soldering and gain an introduction to basic electronics
This fast-paced, interactive camp is perfect for teens interested in science, technology, and the environment. Whether you're curious about marine biology, ecology, or environmental engineering, you'll walk away with new knowledge, practical skills, and inspiration for a future in science.
Come ready to explore, discover, and get your hands dirty—this is science in action!
