15th annual Bridge for life Hiv&Aids walk

The South Mississippi AIDS Task Force (SMATF), guided by President Mitchell Ellerby and a board of directors, is proactively addressing the high incidence of HIV infections in the Gulf Coast area, with a focus on the six coastal counties of Mississippi. Given the 1,304 diagnosed cases in these counties, SMATF is organizing its 15th Annual Bridge for Life HIV-AIDS Awareness Walk/Run, set to occur on September 6, 2025. From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Biloxi/Ocean Springs bridge, this event seeks to enhance awareness and bolster local services, offering various sponsorship options. SMATF also operates a food pantry to support local residents, and contributions of food and funds are welcomed. Donations can be submitted via check, Cash App, or PayPal.
