Hey Friends!
Did you miss us? Let’s celebrate summer by escaping the heat and dancing the night away! For one night only, Ignis Arts will be transformed into a Summerween Wonderland — featuring watermelon jack-o-lanterns, tropical skeletons, a face painting station, and a one-of-a-kind photobooth. Dress to impress in your best Hawaiian shirts, Halloween costumes, or anything in between - there will be prizes for best costume! So grab your friends and let’s make this a Summerween to remember!
What to expect:
- Lesson: 7-8pm by Lucas-Michael Jones, Principles of Fusion
- Dancing 8-11pm; DJs TBD
- Please reach out to us if you are interested in DJing!
- Cost: $10-$20, sliding scale, cash or credit card at the door.
- We are seeking volunteers for door shifts (1 hour)! Volunteers will gain free admission. Please reach out to Bailey Vaillancourt or Nick Arango (

Things to know:
- The space is Air Conditioned!
- Snacks will be available! Please reach out to one of us if you have allergies.
- There is a cat who lives in the space, while she will be put in a separate room the whole time, but note that cat hair may be present in the space.
- Even though we encourage costumes, remember it is still a very warm summer!
- Parking is available at the studio, with overflow parking at Ronnie’s Total Car Care next door, street parking on Bertha Circle, or street parking on Locke Road.
Code of Conduct & Health Regulations:
- Please adhere to the same code of conduct you would when attending any other Boston area fusion social (Eclipse, Second Sun etc). Please talk to Bailey, Jerold or Nick if you have any concerns before, during or after.
General guidelines below:
- Do not assume role preferences - it’s always better to ask!
"No” is a complete sentence.
- Ask before initiating lifts, dips, body rolls and close embrace.
- Safety and comfort is top priority.
- Be kind & inclusive - we welcome folks from all backgrounds!
- Please minimize the use of artificial fragrances. We have community members who are allergic.
- Masks optional. Please stay home if you are sick. We will have some masks on-hand for folks as well.
