Big Bear Lake Maifest

Yup, Oktoberfest in May! It’s actually called Maifest and it celebrates Spring in the mountains and the kick-off to the summer season. While Maifest is a scaled back version of her big brother, Oktoberfest, the fun is just as big and exciting. Maifest has a lot of her own specialities, as well.

Here’s what you can expect . . .specially brewed Maibock bier direct from Germany; a huge Maipole with traditional Maipole dances and contests; Maibowle Punch (a sparkling, fruity Bavarian cocktail); German bands; and a chance to qualify for an all-expense paid trip to the National Steinholding Championships in New York City!
