The Gayatri Mantra - much loved, often sung, but have you come across the Vedic (original) version?
During this nourishing Retreat Day we will enjoy the breadth and depth of yoga by weaving together the healing resonance of the Vedic Gayatri Mantra, gentle holistic yoga and explore the mantra as a meditation. Both beginners and those with experience are warmly welcomed.
Chant soothes our nervous system, brings focus and clarity to our minds, and directly influences all the organs and systems of the body.
The Gayatri Mantra has a multi-layered translation; from bringing us healing, strength and courage, to igniting our Inner Light and leading us to Enlightenment.
The practices shared on this retreat day (re) connect us to our True Nature; our Spiritual-self.

A beautiful, seasonal lunch will be provided by Virginia Compton, an Ayurvedic Practitioner based in Devon and Kerala. All refreshments are also included - organic herbal teas, fruit and delicious snacks.
This is a day for learning, exploring, healing and connecting. I'm so looking forward to sharing these practices at the beautiful Namaste Barn (just 10 minutes from the A38/15 from Newton Abbot).
