Description:
This course in Dermaplaning teaches you, using a sterile blade, to remove vellus hair and exfoliate the skin. This improves the skin tone and texture by removing the top most layer of skin that contains dead skin cells and the vellus hair, leaving the skin looking radiant.

Course format:
1 day practical + home study + case studies.
Training material is accessed on our online portal

1 practical session
Duration:
The home study can be started at anytime, please ask for available course dates.
Model Required?:
Group training = No, students will work on each other.
One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical training to practice your routine on.
Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.
Case studies:
You are required to complete 3 treatments as case studies.
Accreditation body:
* IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine)
* ABT (Associated beauty therapists)
An accredited certificate emailed to you on successful completion of the course.
Career Opportunities:
Advanced facial therapist - employed or self-employed, working in a salon or spa or as a home / mobile therapist.
Additional Costs:
You will need to purchase and bring your own dermaplaning and facial skincare kit to the training day, as well as to carry out your case studies at home.
