Kardec Group is a charity organisation based in Bicester, and we will be having a fundraising Feijoada on Sunday 8 Feb, at Bicester Bowls Club.
If you have never had it before, Feijoada is a rich, slow-cooked stew of black beans simmered to perfection with a mouthwatering array of cured and smoked meats. Think flavoursome ingredients melding together in a dark, glossy, and impossibly delicious sauce, served alongside rice, farofa (fried cassava flour), fried spring greens, and a slice of orange to help refresh the palate. Professional chef, and culinary teacher, Chef Luh Sorrino, will be coming to cook this delicious dish for us.
Meat and veggie options will be available, as well as smaller portions for kids.
The price is all-inclusive of food, drinks, and dessert.
Tickets need to be purchased in advance, so that Chef Luh knows how much to prepare.
