A Ride for David – Saturday 19th July
Because some heroes ride beside us, even when they no longer can.
We’ve recently received the deeply saddening news that our dear friend and fellow rider, David Mayoss, has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. Due to his condition, David is no longer able to ride or drive – but that hasn’t stopped his love for bikes. Since his surgery, the one passion he continues to speak about, read about, and hold onto… is the world of motorbikes and the brotherhood that comes with it.
David has been a huge part of Rolling Rides, riding beside us on so many of our past journeys. Through his support and presence, he’s made a lasting mark on our community with his warmth, kindness, and genuine heart. Now, it’s our turn to ride for him.
On Saturday 19th July, we’re coming together for a special ride to visit David and show him just how much he means to all of us. He would love nothing more than to hear the sound of bikes rolling in and to see the faces of those he once rode with – and those who now ride in his honour.
Let’s show David that while he may not be on two wheels right now, he’s still at the heart of this ride. Let’s bring the noise, the love, and the spirit that makes this community what it is.
More details will follow soon – but for now, please save the date and keep the morning free
