Prayer Mandate and Guidelines
**Purpose**
To pray for the town of Battle and the surrounding area.
**Identity**
* We are a Christian group with no allegiance to any denomination or political party.
* We are non-partisan, not pro or anti anything political or religious.
* We are here simply to pray.
**Open Invitation**
Everyone is welcome.
You don’t have to say anything.
Come as you are — sit, listen, reflect, and pray if you wish.
No pressure. No expectations.
**Prayer Model: The Lord’s Prayer**.
*Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name*
→ We begin with worship. (pre-recorded music)
→ Praying for ancient Christian values to be restored in our town and beyond.
Your kingdom come, your will be done
→ *Praying for God’s will to be done in*:
* Our families
* Local government
* Schools
* Churches
*Give us this day our daily bread*
→ Praying for the needs of our town:
* Physical, emotional, and spiritual
* For those in poverty and those in plenty
*Forgive us as we forgive*
→ For those who have been hurt
→ For the grace to release forgiveness
*Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil*
→ Praying for those with regrets
→ For those struggling with mental health
→ For the sick and discouraged
*Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory*
→ Every session ends with thanksgiving and praise.
