Tophill Low Reserve - Reptile Survey
Join YARG member John Pemberton for a reptile survey at Yorkshire Waters Tophill Low reservoir nature reserve near Driffield, East Yorkshire.
The reserve is known to support good numbers of grass snake.
The he session will involve a walked visual survey and checking refuges and maybe putting new mats out.
We will also hear from reserve manage about the population of Marsh frogs.
We’ll also cover the as required information on the NARPM survey so if you are someone signed up to their national reptile survey programme this would be useful to you.
Please let John or I know if you intend to attend as we need to manage numbers.
Meet at 11:00 at the main car park.
Wear decent footwear as undulating.
We will confirm go-ahead a few days before just in case the weather is not suitable.
