In 1986, The Housemartins released their debut album London 0 Hull 4 — but the story began even earlier.

1985 marks 40 years since The Housemartins first signed to Go-Discs, with Ted Key as their original bassist and a key part of their early sound and spirit.

To mark the occasion, Ted returns with his new band The VIPs for a special live show, performing fresh renditions of tracks from London 0 Hull 4 — brought to life by one of the men who was there at the very beginning.

This is a powerful, personal tribute to the roots of one of Hull’s most beloved bands — and a celebration of the journey from London 0 Hull 4 to London 0 Hull 40.
