Join us for an evening of music and mead as we welcome Grant Peeples to the St. Ambrose stage!

Get to know Grant Peeples—a sharp-tongued storyteller and modern folk artist whose music blends heart-gutting ballads, biting political commentary, and raw humor. A self-described “tree-hugger that watches NASCAR,” Grant has spent decades observing American life, channeling it into poetry and song.

He’s performed coast to coast, including appearances at the Kerrville Folk Festival, 30A Songwriters Festival, Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, and more. A two-time tourer in the Netherlands, FolkForum.nl praised him as “a pure storyteller, in the best American folk tradition.”

His most recent album, A Murder of Songs, dropped in 2023, and a new project, Code to Live By, is coming soon.
