Message: The Locker Room

Think of your favorite locker room speech. Mine is On Any Given Sunday where Al Pacino charges his players, “Either we heal as a team now, or we will die as individuals.” Imagine right after that inspiring speech the players leap to their feet roaring in agreement, but instead of storming the field, they sit right back down. Sometimes church can feel like that. We can be motivated to get in the game. We pray, sing and appeal to God for victory, but then we sit right back down. The purpose of church is that we get out of the locker room and into the game.
