jr nba development league - 6 weeks-A strictly development league for the beginner and rec league player. It is modeled after the European and NBA/college model of controlled scrimmages to teach and not just let players go 1 on 1 or play street ball. Each week there will be 30 minutes of practice before a short game. the coaches will start and stop the games to make sure emphasis is on team play and teaching vital basketball movements such as pick and roll, pick and pop, screen the screener, down screens, pick and re screen and slip the pick. AAU /travel team kids are not encouraged to sign up unless they are willing to be coached in this manner. Each kid will get a pair of shorts and NBA jersey.
