🪄 July 2: Patchwork Players Present: Wizard of Oz
In this abridged version of The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy and her friends follow the yellow brick road, face the Wicked Witch, and ultimately achieve their hearts’ desires. Event sponsored by Barbra & Eliot Weisman.
🎪 July 9: Circus Minimus: One-Man Circus-In-a-Suitcase
Everyone gets an opportunity to participate in this enthralling, whimsical celebration of the imagination! This show has thrilled over 500 family theater audiences, camps, libraries, parks, and school assemblies. Event sponsored in honor of the Gale River Cooperative Preschool.
😎 July 16: Patchwork Players Present: Polka-Dots: The Cool Kids Musical
This story follows 8-year-old Lily Polkadot, who just moved to the “Squares Only” small town of Rockaway. As the first Polkadot in an all-Square school, Lily faces an almost impossible task gaining acceptance from her peers. Event Sponsored by Two Kids at Heart.
🎻 July 23: North Country Chamber Players: Summer Community Concert
This interactive concert is especially geared towards children, their families, friends, and the curious of all ages. One of the Players’ greatest joys is sharing the chamber music repertoire with newbies to this musical genre. Free and open to the public. Online RSVP’s requested. 🐶 July 30: Patchwork Players Present: Last Chance Tuesday
An encouraging pup known for lifting the spirits of his fellow kennel dwellers, Fayo always puts on a brave face, even when secretly dealing with fear and loneliness. When Fayo finally finds a family, all is well....until he meets his roommate.
🧶 August 6: Sandglass Theatre’s “OMA”
Oma says that knitting is not just pom pom hats and sweaters. Oma’s knitting contains whole stories! This new family show by Shoshana Bass and Jana Zeller is an intergenerational tale that revolves around Grandma or “Oma”. Event Sponsored by Scott Hunt
☃️ August 13: Patchwork Players Present: Somebody’s Got Your Back: Celebrating Disney Sidekicks
Join us as we honor the sidekicks who remind us all that friendship, courage, and a bit of mischief can change the world.
