Power Hammer Workshop

In this intermediate level class, participants will learn the techniques necessary to forge their own fireplace poker. We'll be hand forging to get familiar with the metal and then we'll be using the power hammer to handle the heavy work. We will learn blacksmithing techniques including drawing to a point, bending, and twisting that will produce to decorative elements that you can incorporate into your own functional work of art.

Ages 12 and up.
All minors must participate with an adult.
