This month, Tim welcomes three dear friends — Lou Danforth, Lisa Schrag, and Cathie Van Wert — along with you, for an intimate afternoon of music at the Friendly Music Community.
Tim has a rich history of making music with each of his guests:
Lou Danforth — Tim spent five years behind the drum kit in Lou’s rock and blues band, later switching to lead guitar in another of her projects. Lou’s soulful singing, paired with her talents on guitar and piano, bring blues, jazz and R&B to life.
Lisa Schrag — An accomplished harpist and vocalist, Lisa also performs with The Merula Choir at the Swedish American Museum and was a member of Meet The Head. She and Tim once rocked together in an ‘80s tribute band called Flock of Turkeys.
Cathie Van Wert — Tim’s wife and longtime musical partner, Cathie has been adding her fiddle magic and vocal harmonies to groups including Fallen Angels, The Menards and Tim and Cathie's duo performances for over 20 years. She’s also a beloved regular at the Sunday Matinee.
Expect great stories, rich harmonies, blues, jazz, country, folk and a whole lot of heart.
