Discover the Nightlife of Berriew!
Join us for a magical evening exploring the hidden world of moths with the Montgomeryshire Moth Group at the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture. As twilight falls over the village, we’ll be setting up light stations around Berriew to attract and record these fascinating night-time visitors.
Friday 1st August, 9pm
Starting just before sunset – running for approx. 2 hours
What to Expect:
• A short introductory talk on moths and how to identify them
• Guided identification stations with experts on hand
• A chance to see rare and beautiful species up close
• Great for families, nature-lovers, and the curious!
As part of a family-focused weekend at the museum, we’ll also be offering moth and pollinator themed crafts and creative activities inspired by real moths recorded during the evening!
Free entry. Suggested donation £5. Limited places so booking is essential!
All ages welcome – no experience needed.
