Welcome to the World Series of Birding Scherman Hoffman Deckcissels Big Stay Team!

Come join us at New Jersey Audubon's Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary for a fun and educational birding experience on our observation deck. Whether you're a seasoned birder or just starting out, this event is perfect for all levels of bird enthusiasts.

You'll have the opportunity to learn about the World Series of Birding and the diverse bird species that call the sanctuary home. Our experienced birder, Mary, will help you spot and identify various birds while sharing interesting facts about their behaviors and habitats.

The Big Stay is perfect for people that would like to participate in the World Series of Birding but aren't interested in traveling around the state or hiking.

"Stay" on our deck and let the birds come to you instead of hunting for the birds!

Join the team for the whole day, or just the morning shift or afternoon shift. To join this team use the URL provided in your confirmation email. There is a limit of 8 team members.

We recommend bringing a folding chair, suncreen, and a hat.

COST: Free for everyone! Donations to our WSB Big Stay team is suggested.
