Suzette Raison and Bruce Clarke formed as a duo in JUNE 2000.
Both Suzette and Bruce began their musical journeys from an early age but on different paths. Bruce started with folk and branched into country while Suzette’s favourite genres were soul, reggae, and blues.
Together they are “JUST US” performing a special blend of Folk, Country, popular songs from yesteryear and today plus originals spanning reggae, folk and country.
They have performed far and wide from the “Longyard” in Tamworth to Adelaide, around southern NSW, Canberra, Sydney to the north coast of NSW, to the United Arab Emirates where they sung the Australian and New Zealand anthems at official embassy ANZAC day celebrations, two years running.
They’ve been asked twice to perform Bruce's song “The Black Opal” along with the National Anthem at the start of the prestigious Black Opal horse race in Canberra. They have received praise from officials of the United States Embassy, Canberra for their September 11 tribute song, “The World is with you America” and were invited to perform, their own compositions at the Bungendore Country Muster in February 2003.
Suzette and Bruce have released a CD called “The Simple Things in Life” - a celebration of nature and life. Like many, their ambition, through performing, recording, and writing is to succeed in the music industry and have a bit of fun along the way.
After many years working and performing around the Snowy River Region and becoming ‘regulars’ at the Innisfail RSL, Adelaide and on to Abu Dhabi, they are now eager to return to set up new circuits in Canberra, regional NSW and beyond.

New musical instruments, amps, speakers, mixers, new lighting, and a stage back-drop have been acquired to produce the best possible musical event they can muster.
In 2022, they returned to the stage and have performed at the Burns Club, Canberra with regular spots at the Broulee Brewhouse. They have more appearances at Broulee in September, and October They are booked at the Harden Country Club for early December with inquiries coming from venues in Albury, Young, Wagga Wagga and Boorowa.
