Equipment Specialist Class

Don’t let small equipment issues keep you out of the water. From a missing O-ring or a torn wetsuit to a broken fin strap, minor gear problems can end a great dive day. The Equipment Specialist course gives you the knowledge and hands-on skills to handle basic repairs and adjustments with confidence. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of how your scuba equipment works, helping you feel more comfortable using it—and better prepared to care for your investment.

What Qualifications Do I Need to Start?

If you’re at least 10 years old and certified as a Scuba Diver or higher, you’re eligible to enroll in the Equipment Specialist course.

How Does It Work?

In the Equipment Specialist course, you’ll learn about:

Proper gear care, routine maintenance, and recommended storage practices

Common equipment issues and practical solutions to address them

Equipment configuration tips and an overview of the latest scuba gear

This course is ideal for divers who want to be more self-reliant, informed, and confident with their equipment—both at home and on dive trips.
