Join us to find the story of College Lake and discover our Cornflower Fields.
Find out more about College Lake its history, conservation, geology and - of course - wildlife!
During these walks Bernard, a volunteer guide, will take you on a 2 hour walk around the reserve taking you to seasonal highlights, such as the cornflower fields and their nursery, as well as some of our hidden history and wonderful wildlife. Please note that the focus of these walks may vary with the guide and groups interest.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Our trampers/mobility scooter are available and suitable for the walking route but they do need to be booked in advance and if you have not used them at our site before a training session is required - please email

Please be aware:
-Please arrive on time at the Visitor Centre where we will start our walk. The session lasts 2hrs and involves gentle walking around the site with stopping points along the way.
-This activity takes place outdoors and we recommend appropriate clothing for all weathers.
