Ugly Art Party

We’ll be experimenting without fear and tossing perfection right into the trash where it belongs. When we try too hard, we get stuck.

The goal? To be with community, even if you’re not the most social or extroverted, in a relaxing backyard setting where you can feel safe to simply be.

No pressure. No judgment. Just a space to play, create, and connect.

📅 Date & Time: September 20th, 2025 at 1:00 PM📍 Location: 3020 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA👜 Bring: Yourself, any art supplies you tend to neglect or want to give away/share, food to share, and a pillow or blanket if you’d like to get cozy in our Art Tent or hammock.

We’ll have canvas, totes, and hats for sale to decorate for a small donation, if desired.

Our mission is to serve the community by offering free art events, college preparedness workshops (including help with financial aid and other resources), potty training workshops, and postpartum doula services.

We believe in creating spaces where people of all ages and backgrounds can learn, connect, and grow. With additional funding, we hope to expand our programs and reach even more members of our community in the future.
