Lifelong animal rescuer Zoe Rosenberg is in jail right now for rescuing four suffering chickens from Perdue's Petaluma Poultry slaughterhouse. For giving Poppy, Aster, Ivy, and Azalea their freedom, Zoe has lost hers.
Trader Joe's is complicit in Zoe's prosecution and in the cruelty at Petaluma Poultry because they are one of the largest buyers of Petaluma Poultry. Trader Joe's customers may never know this because the chicken bodies are wrapped and sold under Trader Joe's own branding.
Join us at 5:00pm on Tuesday, December 23rd outside the Trader Joe's on MLK Jr Way and University Ave in Berkeley to once again ask Trader Joe's to cut ties with Perdue's Petaluma Poultry.
Signs will be provided.
