Artist Bio:

Aleah Bradshaw, aka Nyfe, is a 29 year old performing artist, writer, and educator with a passion for poetry and hip hop as tools of liberation and creative expression. They were born and raised in Colorado by two Trinidadian American immigrant parents, playing gamecube with their brother, and alternating Kirk Franklin and Ludacris CDs. They now live in Oakland, California, where they manage poetry and hip hop after school programs for teens and their own small business and music collective closegood.
