🌍 Climate literacy workshops with teacher and youth-led sessions & performances
🎨 Live community art: a large-scale participatory installation led by acclaimed artist Sukey Bryan, where all ages can add their creativity and voice to a collective climate artwork
🍴 Food trucks & community tabling focused on climate solutions
🎶 Ticketed music event from 5:30PM-Midnight
🎸 Local Bay Area Bands
All proceeds support Bay Area student- and teacher-led climate action and literacy projects, with this event funding the Induction Cooktop Teaching Project. This initiative empowers West Oakland students and families to understand how indoor air quality affects health, while engaging in hands-on STEM lessons on biology, environmental science, and electrification. By providing free cooktop kits and cooking classes, it advances climate justice, reduces fossil fuel reliance through electrification, and builds the next generation of climate-literate leaders.
