Peter Mulvey, a veteran singer-songwriter from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an iconoclast within the folk genre and father to The World's Greatest Toddler. Playing songs for and with his son makes both of them giggle and snort. Come and do the same with Peter at this very special performance, perfectly tuned for the young and young at heart.
Peter Mulvey has been a songwriter, road-dog, raconteur, and almost-poet since before he can remember. Twenty albums, many having been released on Righteous Babe Records, one illustrated book, thousands of live performances, a TEDx talk, a decades-long association with the National Youth Science Camp, opening tours and gigs for luminaries such as Ani DiFranco, Emmylou Harris, Chris Smither and Chuck Prophet, appearances on NPR, an annual autumn tour by bicycle, emceeing festivals, hosting his own Lamplighter Sessions for years in Boston and in Wisconsin, he has built his life's work on collaboration, on an instinct for the eclectic and the vital.
Peter’s Little Folks Show follows the release of his children's book "Vlad the Astrophysicist," and his work as a teacher throughout the country at many song schools and the National Youth Science Camp.
