Medicine Making Series: Introduction to Tincturing

Berkeley Herbal Center’s very own medicine making team is thrilled to invite you to a hands-on Medicine Making Series exploring one of the most essential herbal preparations: tinctures! Tinctures are a cornerstone of herbal medicine: potent, shelf-stable plant extracts that are easy to take, quick to absorb, and can last for over a decade. In this class, you’ll learn how to extract the healing properties of herbs using alcohol, understand the why and how of tincture making, and create your own to take home.

Come connect with the plants, build your home apothecary, meet our vibrant herbal community, and feel the magic of making medicine by hand.
