A Public Conversation on ending the practice of Solitary Confinement in the US Pr*son System. Kick off for the Journey to Justice Bus Tour.

About this Event

A Public Conversation with Chris Blackwell, Prof. Deborah Zalesne, and Dr. Terry Kupers (authors of Ending Isolation: The Case Against Solitary Confinement, Pluto Press 2025) and Dorsey Nunn (author of What Kind of Bird Can’t Fly?: A Memoir of Resilience and Resurrection (Heydey Press 2024). Angela Davis will make a brief appearance by video to speak about solitary confinement. The conversation will be hosted by Cat Brooks, Host of KPFA’s Law and Disorder.
