Trail running around Hardangerjøkulen

We have no idea how to navigate a glacier, so we decided to run around one instead. On Friday, we will take the train to Finse and run to Demmevasshytta, one of DNT’s most remote cabins located right next to the glacier. On Saturday, the trail leads us along the south side of the glacier to Kjeldebu, before we complete the round back to Finse on Sunday. We will pack light (buy food at Kjeldebu) and try to manage most of the trip running. Daily distances are 20-25 km and will leave us some time for swimming and board games at the cabins.
You should be in good shape and be able to run 4 hours in terrain and changing conditions for 3 days in a row.
