SPE TechNight with DL Tao Yang from Equinor

After the great success of hosting TechNight at Nøsteboden, we’re excited to kick off the autumn season with our first TechNight back at the same venue!

Dr. Yang will present research on Gel Permeation Chromatography with UV Detection (GPC-UV)—a technique that enables accurate fluid property analysis from drill cuttings, even when contaminated by oil-based mud. This innovative method offers a safer, more cost-effective alternative to traditional downhole sampling, with broad applications in drilling, reservoir management, and production optimization.
