The I57 is a 1/8th mile drag and drive racing event. Takes place August 21st-23rd. Once the car arrives/ is unloaded at Cole County It must make all passes and the full drive under its own power. You may only use the tools and supplies you can fit in the vehicle. A pull behind trailer for the car racing is allowed. A follow vehicle is only permitted if it has no tools or supplies for the racer and is only following in the situation of a drop out and the driver needs to get there truck and trailer. Cars in the event must meet all NHRA RULES. You will go through and pass tech. The car racing must be plated and insured. Driver must have valid license. The entry for each track is 25 dollars for racer and 10 dollars a person if spectating

2nd track is I57 6112 Hill City Rd, Benton, IL 62812 5pm start
3rd track is Cole County 4700 W State St, Charleston, IL 61920 12 noon start

Cars are loaded up in the evening at coles county after racing is done. winners will be announced that day. if a winner leaves before the announcement is made they will be called and the money will be mailed or sent via preferred money sending services.
