Wines of the World: Bordeaux & the Loire
September 30 – October 28 | 4-week Series | $100
Continue your journey through France’s most iconic wine regions in this 4-week tasting series focused on Bordeaux and the Loire Valley. Guided by the expert staff of Lake Michigan College’s Wine and Viticulture Technology Program, each session explores classic styles and compares them to New World interpretations—including wines from southwest Michigan.
Taste and discuss regional grape varieties, terroir, and winemaking traditions while refining your palate with structured, guided tastings.
Session Schedule:
This one-time $100 course fee includes all four class meetings and weekly wine tastings.
This class runs concurrently with LMC's Wine and Viticulture Technology "Wines of the World I" course on Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm-7:00pm from September 2nd through December 9th. Class meets on LMC's Benton Harbor Campus at the Welch Center for Wine and Viticulture Technology.
