Make Your Own Merch Kit with Spooky Shrooms Designs

This fun and inclusive workshop is all about expressing your unique identity through design! This session explores non verbal communication in and fun and stylish way.

Looking at communication through non verbal means, using accessories as your tool.

Together, we’ll:

Brainstorm and create a graphic that represents you.

Draw your design.

Digitise your artwork for printing.

Turn your artwork into custom merch: stickers, pins, magnets, keychains and bookmarks.

You’ll walk away with a pack of personalised merch items and the option to contribute your design to a collaborative sticker-bombed mirror, which will be part of a public exhibition in 2026 at the Belmont Hub!

🛠 What We Provide

✏ Traditional Drawing Supplies: pens, pencils, markers, paper

🎨 Materials for Merch Creation: shrink film, sticker paper, keyrings, magnets, glue, and pin backs

📱 What to Bring (If You Can)

• If you prefer to use your own tech or digital drawing apps, feel free to bring:

iPad or Android tablet with Procreate, AutoDesk Sketchbook, or Photoshop

• You should also come with an idea for the graphic you'd like to create. What message do you want to share?

🌟 About the Project

This workshop is part of the Creative and Digital Arts Project by Valued Lives under our Empowered Connections initiative. With support from the Department of Social Services, this project explores the themes of ableism and inclusion through art. A curated selection of participants’ artworks will feature in a public exhibition at the Belmont Hub in March 2026.
