🇬🇧
We are having an adventure this week as i have not done this walk myself yet and venturing down the coast again to Benidorm.
Benidorm is not all hen and stag parties and people degrading the human race. There are beautiful beaches, coves, scenery and the old town to enjoy too.
Benidorm is Benidorm and i warmed to it after my first visit. Enjoy the bits you like, avoid the bits you don't and there are a great selection of places, to eat, drink and shop.
For those of us up the Gandia end of the area and want to, we will meet at Yaho restaurant on Partida Calzada in Oliva to car share at 9:45, leaving at 10am t meet at the car park in Benidorm at 11am.
We can sort the car share into those wanting to come straight back, and those wanting a wander and to come back later.
If you wish to go straight to Benidorm the car park is close by and we will meet up here.
Once together we can set off towards the headland to the north of Levante beach and follow the roads and tracks, first to Punta Llisera and then on to Cova del Barber before walking up to Le Cruz.
We will have a chance to pause for a drink, snack and photos at each point before returning to the end of Levante beach.
I suggested a Fish n Chips lunch in the Old Town. But Northern Sole is closed Tuesdays.
Rays 2 chip bar is near the end of the walk so that's an option too.
The walk itself is 8km and should take 2 hours. Bare in mind we are going uphill for the first part.
Bring water and maybe a snack and hopefully sun cream and not a rain mac.
2 euro minimum donation to keep the walks going.
Please remember to hit the "GOING" tab if you are and to remove yourself if you change your mind. This way we know who to wait for.
No need to notify us on Whattsapp, unless you are running late and want us to wait for you.
