About our speaker

Dennis is a seasoned business professional with 40 years’ experience in the finance industry with Bendigo Bank. Throughout his banking career, Dennis has held numerous roles working his way through the ranks to Executive Retail position where he was responsible for the national retail network. Mergers and acquisitions also formed part of his role at the Bank. Following his success in retail banking.

Dennis transitioned into an Operations role with AFL Central Vic followed by the CEO of Be. Bendigo, where he led and supported the local business community through the unknown Covid environment.

Following his stint at Be. Bendigo, Dennis took over as CEO of Bendigo Stadium Limited (Red Energy Arena) where his responsibilities include community and elite sport, hospitality, gaming and events, for the benefit of the local community. Dennis has had an illustrious career, dedicated to developing people, business and community engagement.

Harness racing has been a big part of his life including 13 years on committee of Bendigo Harness Racing Club, 6 as President, 9 years on the Country Clubs executive committee and runs Yorkshire Park a racing and breeding business since 2005. Currently Dennis is a government appointed Board member with Harness Racing Victoria.
