Here is our list of what we want to accomplish!
Clean Bathrooms - cleaning supplies provided (new urinal cakes needed)
W**d eat around building and driveway (tools and operator needed)
Cut weeds in back lot (mower and operator needed)
Outdoor Trash Pickup around building, driveway and roadway
Fix/Remove Damaged Barrels at Driveway (one has been ran over AGAIN)
Paint Building - in Progress on August 9th (weather dependant)
Hang Trim around two interior exit doors - Trim kits provided , need tools and experience installing trim!
Weather Strip bottom seal at rear garage door (buy and install new strip) - Rodents are getting in at this door.
Weather Strip/Sweep front door - bottom strip is allowing rodents and insects into building (need to buy and install sweep)
Rodent Traps deployed- (need traps for mice - preferably glue)
Install extra layer of roof sheathing on entry cover (sheathing provided) - May be done August 9th in the AM.
Shingle Entry Cover (roofing will be provided) Its 128 sq ft of root.
Raise Exterior Front Light (in progress on August 9th in the AM)
Convert T12 Fluorescent lights in back room to LED (re-wire of fixture to bypass ballast required)
Service and replace any burnt out LED bulbs in range.
Paint Floor Lines in place of floor tape - remove floor tape- (supplies will be provided)
Re-build Bases for rolling indoor bales (Bale needs to be 16" above floor to meet NFAA standards) Materials will be provided
Re-band and repair Wall of Bales - (need to cut banding on damaged bailes and re-stack foam to make usable targets) Additional bales to be ordered after we know how many will be needed.
Review animal target inserts - repair as needed so TACO has good targets for October Indoor Season.
Steam Clean range floor - need someone to take the lead on this - sweeping is not enough to get the grime up! Spot cleaning has shown the floor can be really nice!
If anyone is able and interested we are looking for help with the following items.
We are considering seeding the back area we have been working on behind the range. The cost for seeding is $2000. In addition to the cost of seeding a watering system needs to be built/installed and used properly to keep the grass alive. We are hoping to turn this back area into an outdoor range we can use as a club. Right now it's a dusty W**d infested area that's for overflow parking.... This could be a big deal for our members and for the future of the club. We could offer Hunter Prep days to work on sight marks, tune for broadheads, etc... We could have bales setup from 10-90 yards! We could host 50/70 meter shoots, and it can give our Archery Team a place to practice during the outdoor season.
We would also like to start thinking about a covered shooting area in the same back lot. Something running the length (60-70ft) that gives coverage for archers at the line. It would need to be at the East side of that area. Most other clubs have something like this already and it would make shooting there very comfortable for outdoor 3-4 season shooting.
We would like to install two Smart Tv's in the range for spectator use - We have wifi and have been streaming our shoots live. Members have been bringing TV's in when needed and then taking them home - that's not ideal. This would give team parents and shoot spectators something to watch from that area. We want a 32" smart Tv, and a 60-65" smart tv. We would like to mount the smaller one by the snack shack, and the larger one by the lounge safety door. Ideally they are on pivoting mounts so we wall mount them and get the angles right for viewing.
We would need permanent fencing for the proposed future outdoor range. For insurance reasons we need a fence to deter people from the range. We have a rough measurement of 630 ft to wrap the area. Ideally it can be a steel hog wire and steel post fence with signage around 4ft tall. We are working with fencing companies, but if this is something anyone can help with - it would be a big help!
