520 Northeast 8th Street, Bend, United States
Join us at Franklin's Corner for the first class of our community garden series. You will learn how to prioritize what to grow in a Central Oregon garden through spring, summer and fall, and get tips and hands-on demonstrations of bed preparation, crop planning, seed sowing, transplanting and using season extender tools. This is a great class for beginners, amateurs or gardeners new to the area.
Community and home gardeners welcome!
Ashley will have hand tools, plant tags, garden pens and season extenders available for purchase, and attendees will have the option to visit her nearby greenhouse for plant starts after the class.
Suggested $10 donation at the door.
This is an outdoor class. Please bring a camp chair, water bottle, seasonally-appropriate clothing - and snacks if needed! There are also no bathroom facilities on site, so plan accordingly.
Please cancel your ticket if you find yourself unable to attend. We will send out a cancellation notice by 9am on 5/17 in the event of inclement weather.
Parking at Franklin's Corner is available via NE 9th St. & Larch Dr.
