New Skater Orientation

Do you want to try roller derby but not sure where to start? Did you skate before and want to pick up the sport again?

To learn more about becoming a skater, ref or volunteer with Lava City come to Fresh Meat Orientation.

In our Fresh Meat Program we will teach you how to put on your gear, stand, move, stop, block, fall, and skate. No prior skating experience required.

If you just want information just bring yourself. If you want to try skating bring skates and gear if you have them, if you don't have them we'll have some skates and gear you can borrow. Must be 18. All genders welcome.
