Calling all Central Oregon shooting enthusiasts!
100% of the match fees will go towards the individuals in the section who are dedicated to learning more about the craft on their own time. Funds will be used to provide the Snipers of 1-82 Cav with opportunities to compete in competitions and training events outside of constraints of the military as civilian marksmen learning to be more effective snipers.
The match will consist of 10 stages with a focus on field rifle shooting skills and pistol skills. Target distances will range from 100-1200 yards for rifle, 5-25 yards for pistol.
Inspired by tradition and the legacy of Military Snipers, shooters will be tested on their abilities to engage targets at unknown distances, high angle shooting, pistol shooting, stress shoots, conduct of Kim's games, moving targets, and more!
Scoring will be traditional dead target scoring with opportunities for score multipliers and bank stages throughout. The match may be shot individually or as a two-person team*
The match will be RO'd by volunteers from the sniper section and 1-82 Cav as a whole.
