Originally formed as a somewhat antagonistic answer to grunge, alternative rock icons CAKE are peerless in sound and perspective. Known for platinum-selling albums and ubiquitous hits like "The Distance" and "Short Skirt/Long Jacket," CAKE has maintained their status as one of music’s most distinctive and inventive bands since emerging from California’s club scene in the early '90s. With the successor to their Billboard number-one album Showroom of Compassion set for release this fall, CAKE brings their signature sound—characterized by deadpan vocals, punchy trumpet lines, and satirical lyrics—to the stage for an unforgettable performance.
