Together We Play- Inclusive Playdate

TOGETHER WE PLAY! Bemidji Parks and Recreation is partnering with Gillette Children's to host an inclusive playdate and Paul Bunyan Park. Join us from 9am-11am on July 11th for a morning of play for children and families of all abilities!

Gillette Children's goal is to create more opportunities for children of all abilities to engage, connect and celebrate the power of play together. Inclusive play helps children celebrate their differences, fosters mutual respect and understanding, and lays the foundation for a more inclusive society

This event also falls in Park and Rec Month. This year's theme is Build Together, Play Together! Park and recreation programs are essential to community health and well-being and help cultivate lifelong friendships, memories and family bonds that people hold dear decades later. By laying the essential foundation, together we can help people play and connect.
