Bird Walk in BARC - 8am

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING
Bird Walk at BARC led by our local expert Michel Cavigelli. We will meet at 8 AM at the BARC (Beltsville Agricultural Research Center) Log Lodge. Note that the gate on Powder Mill is typically closed, so you have to arrive by the South, i.e., by Beaver Dam Rd.

We will have a BARC permit to do this walk.

Bring binoculars and - as always - dress for the weather and ticks.

We will likely bird near the lodge for 1/2h THEN MOVE TO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, so please do not arrive later than 8:30am. It is quasi-impossible to monitor Facebook messages when paying attention to the birds, so be there before 8:30 :)

We should see migrating warblers, raptors, sparrows, woodpeckers, blue birds, waterfowl and more!
We will bird until 10:30 MAX but you will be able to leave anytime.
