Lisa is the kind of person we all hope to have in our lives. She's a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend who's always the first to show up, often with a meal in her hands and never asks for anything in return. Her love is boundless, and she gives her time and energy freely to anyone who needs it.
Now, it's our turn to show up for her.
Lisa has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This is a particularly aggressive and rare form of breast cancer, accounting for 10-15% of all breast cancers. What makes it so challenging is that it lacks the three receptors- estrogen, progesterone, and HER2- that doctors often target with hormone therapy or other specialized drugs. This means the standard treatments aren't effective, and Lisa's treatment will require a rigorous and challenging combination of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, which is why it is so important that Lisa has the best care and support possible.
For years, Lisa has been the one to fight for us, to care for us, and to love us without limits. Now, she is facing the fight of her life, and she shouldn't have to do it alone. She will NOT do it alone.
Please join us for a benefit in her honor on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 1-9 pm at The Club 1975 Porter Ave, Beloit, WI. We're bringing the community together to show Lisa just how much she means to all of us. There will be dart tournaments, cornhole tournaments, a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles, delicious Food, and a DJ. Let's all come together and show Lisa that she's surrounded by love and support as she takes on this battle.
