BFC is excited to announce yet another competition for 2025 to encourage the participation of newcomers!
This will be a one-day-only competition under AIDA rules. The athletes can do one dynamic discipline in the morning session (11am - 2pm) and static in the afternoon session (3pm - 6pm). All dynamic swims will be in the 50m indoor pool (DNF, DYN and DYNB). Even for DNF the pool will stay in the 50m configuration. The STA session will be in the shallow 25m pool.
For newcomers, defined as having participated in at most one previous competition, the cost is capped at $20 in total.
The cost for registration for experienced athletes (including pool entry) is $50 per event, $80 for both events.

*All divers must be a member of an AIDA National
*All divers must present on the day of the event prior to check-in a valid passport or proof of nationality.
*All divers must be either a member of an AFA-affiliated club having completed a safety induction, or be a certified freediver.

*All divers must present prior to check-in a signed “medical certificate of non-contraindication to freediving” written in English. The certificate must be signed and dated by a medical doctor. It may not be older than one year, and an athlete may not sign their own certificate. Furthermore, the contact details of the doctor must be present on the form.
