Fundraiser - Shark River - Klein's Dock-n-Dine Paddle Challenge

Come join 501(c)3 Charity – A Paddle; For Hunger for our mid-summer paddle fundraiser around the Shark River to Kleins Fish Market, Belmar NJ for a shoreline dock-and-dine fundraiser.

The tour leaves Memorial Park, Neptune City, NJ around 1:00 pm and proceeds around the perimeter of the waterway to RTE 18 and then back through the western wetlands approaching Belmar. We continue to navigate through the Belmar marina, under 35 and NJ Transit bridges where we stop along the shoreline for a riverside take-out meal from Klein’s Fish Market. The cruise will continue into the Shark River Inlet to look at waterside (summer) homes before heading back through the channel into the main waterway, ending back at the park around 7:00 pm.

This trip includes a $25 food voucher, which covers a partial meal cost(s).

• ACA Insurance and Spotter Guide Fee - $20

• Donation - $30

• Total Price - $75
• Five (5) rentals availalbe upon request for an additional $25 per kayak
• BYOK preferred

Remember, this is a fundraiser which provides paper cups, napkins, plates, and coffee supplies to N.A., A.A., and weekly lunch meetings to the food insecure in southern coastal Monmouth County.

This fund raiser aims to raise $500, which will be added to our blanket purchasing account at Johnson’s Restaurant Supply, Neptune, NJ and will be used to offer one grant to offset expendables to organizations that support our community.

Your donation is tax deductible, and you will receive a donation receipt within one-week of the event.

This event is open to touring and sea kayaks 14 feet or longer with paddlers having moderate larger water skills. 18 years or older please.
