Peppe Voltarelli and Luca Ciarla form a truly unique duo in the Italian music scene. Peppe Voltarelli, with his warm and unmistakable voice and his guitar brings on stage the authenticity of the Calabrian tradition and his great experience as a singer-songwriter and storyteller. Luca Ciarla, with his violin, electronics and his ability to mix different styles, creates a fusion of sounds that ranges from folk to jazz, making each performance fresh and engaging. Together they transmit a contagious energy and their complicity is palpable. They enjoy experimenting, playing with notes and telling stories that speak of life, love and roots. In a constantly evolving musical world, their duo represents a beautiful and authentic testimony of how tradition can meet modernity, constantly offering something new and surprising. Their setlist includes most of the songs from Voltarelli's latest album, La grande corsa verso Lupionòpolis, recorded in New York.
