Tuesday Story Time in FAIRHAVEN! with SHARON MORRIS

Join us in the kids' section of our Fairhaven location every Tuesday at 11am for a half hour of stories, songs, coloring, and movement! And today welcome local children's author as she reads from her latest book, Don't Run in Socks!

Parents and caretakers all over the world tend to give the same simple warnings to young children. "Don't jump on the couch!" "Don't run in socks!". This fun book, written in limerick style, shares these lessons in a fun way with silly illustrations to go along. A great way to learn those same old warnings!

Sharon Morris is a mother of four, grandmother of four - and a retired elementary school teacher, who taught for many years in Singapore. She enjoys teaching, always in tune with the developmental needs of children and their safety. Since moving to Bellingham, she has written two children's books. She and her husband enjoy walking their dogs, tending to their 15 chickens, quilting, reading, traveling and spending time with their grandsons.
